I am studying art, photography and psychology and I want to understand the ideas behind the creative works. I will be asking many questions and I hope people will take the time to explain their thoughts and not be offended by my crits. I am not implying that I am a better artist but just giving my humble opinion - I know I have a lot to learn.

Added 4/9/07: I have chosen "The philosophy of the nude" as my project and would like to understand the thoughts of the artist/photographer that go into the choice of presentation of the subject so I will be asking artists on this site who create different styles. The more deeply you can explain your ideas, the more valuable it will be for my understanding.
